more wonderful news. finally bagged my first gold medal in lawn bowls after an epic match with ben against gensen and hazmi. epiclly fail to get to top 4 in singles after losing to tikak who apparently bankai on that fateful sunday morning. nvm, not everyday's a sunday. shall tell you all how we score.

we freaking owned them first to ends but no ssteam after that. end 6 we even gave them 6 points. wts can. damn nervous at that time. wake up call for us. one point by one point, we were catching them up. slowly but surely. the turning point- end 11, when we were 3 up. but at end 14 which is the second last end of the competition, we were one point down. do or die. it was that exciting and will be remembered as match of the century that all other team mates went over to watch the bowls rolling over. after my second shot, we were 1 up. they were planning to let us 1 up and draw with us and play death match. opponent's last bowl changes all. he was aiming for the jack and even though it touches the jack, it chose to roll towards 3 of our nearest bowls. it's a clear victory and i don't even nedd to bowl my last bowl.

it made me realise one thing- driving will not guarantee any success. but i like to drive and heavy draw.

end of our cca career, it means, after our competiton. don't know when will we be playing again. haha. but there's a mixed doubles at the end of the year and fours and thriples too. study lah.

gp just sucks totally.

lawn bowls national singles today. against yan sheng some j1 sun god. thrashed him 21-4. not being afraid of his sun power. said that he is able to control the sun and wind during practice. wasted my time as i played only one game today.

most epic game was gensen's game. at one time he was down 4-17. dunno wad bankai he used he managed to catch up to 20-19 and finally won his j1 opponent.

competition tmr again sia. so sianz. no time study for exam. tmr will be the semis and final for singles. another wasted day just like that

had sports heat- 800m medley relay.
gensen ran 200m, jiaxin and qianyi ran 100m each and i ran 400m. 400m can die. DIE.

came out to rank 10th out of 16. not bad for first timers like us.

Wednesday

Think Career Day.

overall, a wider prospective of wad we are going to do in uni and wad sort ever. attended career talks in the morning and uni talks in the afternoon.

first talk: banking and finance. had a nice impression on it. not a bad choice though except for the economic future that's a little worrying. 2 speakers turned out out of 4. the speakers were all old boys and were quite a funny.

second: business and entrepreneurship. the lady who created building blocks quite arrogant. SINS chocolate guy never talked abut his path to chocolate. disappointed... almost fell asleep...

third: MINDeF. the most interesting of all i must say. siyuan and huixin went for it too under my persuasion. ctp victor from navy engineering is a real joker. talked non-stop can...still wanna snatch mic from ctp charles who is from the intelligence. the stories that they told us are all but laughter. last part victor even talked abt the badges that charles had and introduced everyone of them. one of them was '8th to president'. very 'tok liak' high rank it means. charles then clarified he was just a coffeeboy. 'a glorified coffeeboy' victor replied. hahaha... after badges intro, he said he got only one badge-5 years good service award. laughter again...

uni talks- NUS business. ok overall but i am sleepy...
booth visit. went around shopping and returned victorious with all those 'rubbish'. marc wanna be a pilot after the brainwashing session by the guy there. even siyuan wan to be one. omg. i don't mind a pilot too, but a Weapon Systems Officer-FIGHTER WSO (FTR). a WSO (air defence artillery) oso don mind too. sign-on? possible. GUARDS -- ready to strike.

third one: NUS design and environment.
most boring. act interested in environment part. but don even have a single part on environment. marc slept for 97% of the talk. real estate came in. ????? blurrr?????. last resort in uni.

imagine playing a sport for 4.5 hrs to get into semis, let alone lawn bowls. that's wad ben and i did yesterday for the nationals doubles. we won three games straight out of three games. first game against tilak and ben.tan. won 11-7. second game against nich and dominic. won. last game against J1 team. tough fight with them. first end they won 4 points. the next end we won four points. so tie. third end they won 3. fourth end we won another 3. tie again. wts lah. dunno i am right to say that J1s are good or they have just beginner's luck cause all J2s team were down by the J1s team at first by quite a margin. but in the end all J2 team managed to go through except for nich and dom.

lunch time after 2 consecutive games. felt good after winning both the games. then marc came just in time for free lunch. who says there is no free lunch in this world? it then rained after that. had to wait for it to stop for the third game. wet and soggy ground we played for the last game. the bowls couldn't turn as much and we had to use more strength. it sux to play on wet ground. the only fun is that you can see the water trails spinning with the bowls. when you drive the water trails get bigger. fansinating siol.

went kallang leisure park with the rest to bridge and rest and celebrate for our qualifying into semis. found out that my cap wasn't with clarine nor with me. who would wan to steal it? feel bad cause she wans to buy another one for me. let's hope somebody mistook it and return to us. then the rest went and left marc and i. went to arcade, where marc's toe was stepped by some bitch who stepped, looked at it and walked away. then marc scolded her. the end

took 16 to cine and watched aunty mould the cookies. watched how movies ticket are selling so fast that tickets for A & D 7.45 show were sold out. we were there at 5. watched the donuts at B1 there, even though donut factory's donuts are much better...decided to walk to taka to see wad we can use with the $10 taka voucher. went b2,food area. decided to see if any food tasting is available inside cold storage. NO. went around seeing food, food and more food. bread, brownies, ice-cream, breadpapa, yoki-tori, yogurt and donuts. we thought that we couldnt stay there any further or our stomach would just jump out to grab some food. finally got out of taka w/o buying any food. Yay, great self-control. ate at meridian hotel food place, which sell one of the cheapest food in orchard area. mixed vege rice we ate and a bowl of pork ribs old cucumber soup plus dai-di game. went to tuiton at 7.30. Man U match at 7.45.

tuition ended. for the first time, we packed our bags so quickly, ran out to catch the lift and off to the hawker beside meridian hotel to watch the last few min of the match. together with gensen, marc, hoi ching and matthew, we watched the last 6 min of the match. we held our breath when arsenal players were attacking and cheered when man u defenders kept the ball out of the danger zone. at 90 min, rooney was sub-ed by anderson. that wasted another 1 min or so... van der sar delivered a goal kick and a header from arsenal and a few passes ended the title-winning match. at that moment, the crowd there clapped their hands in approval of the newly-crowned champions. as man u fans, of course we did cheered.








a sport can really bond people of different characteristics together. together we cheered, we screamed and we sing...

watched Angels and Demons with ed, marc, gensen, junquan, ben, debb and siyuan today.
It was a good show. and i understand it without reading the book before. just awesome. maybe some time i will read the book, maybe, maybe.




ended at 5 pm. chiong-ed to tuition which was supposed to be at 5.15. reached there 5.40. haiz, almost fell asleep for the first 45 mins.

went to The Manhattan Fish Market to feast with marc's gang. nice but to small a portion only two prawns per person for splatter for two. officially broke. No MONEY le!

here's our line-up, first to sixth runner: siyuan, huixin, me, ryan, eddie and last runner javis. our strategy is to let the girls run first then the guys chiong all the way. it did work out quite well. for the first two runner, we seemed the last, CAUSE the girls are running first. and they do not know our power and how we bankai

i think my job is the toughest. even before i started running, those cheerleaders of 2t31 gave me enough pressure to minimise the gap. i have a VERY clear path in front of me. i've got no one to pace nor taking over. determination is the key to success. i started to feel the stress on my legs when i reached the road outside school. that's only 100m away from starting point. but i kept my mental strenght strong, entering the school track and hearing our cheerleaders shouting out loud. upon reaching the final stretch of the track, javis push me on, reminding me to keep constant pace or wad. my mind couldn't think much at that time though.

there was this steps at the entrance and exit of the track. it was hard to climb up and down, given that the steps were really very small in length. i took two steps down for my first strike down then totally jumped down the steps.

uphill through the carpark. quite demanding. got a few odacers cheered me on and i raced to the top of it. reaching the thirsty elephant area, suddenly heard 'Go javis's class! Go ...' woots, inspiring man. and i pointed thumbs up to them. don't really know why i did that.

the stairs. omg the stairs up to tennis courts. my first step up. felt like diluted sulphuric acis pouring over. my second step, more concentrated H2SO4. dead after the first flock of stairs. then i looked up, damn it, another one. because of those odacers cheering me on and calling out my name(i like it this way: "GO Edmund!!") i tried thinking of showering in concentrated sodium hydroxide. stoned for a few seconds after climbing. don't know where to run next. the stupid road marshal didn't even point out where. 'oh turn left' ahh, saw megan the small bumble bee. continued running hard. thought of arriving at the slope down makes me wriggle...

as i appeared on the slope and within their sight from the pac there, i heard a call from the heaven. for the first time i heard my name being shouted so loudly. bet it must be marilene and siyuan. gravity just pull me down with every step i took. that kinda of feeling was weird. anyhow, turned left and finishing my final stretch of relay. ah, javis again. 'wider stride. comeon comeon. wider stride.' jinshi joined in the lecturing too. but it did help me a lot, alot. BANKAI>>> and i collapsed. throat damn dry. lied down and breathed real hard, as if that was the last amount of oxygen left on earth. people came comforting me and serving me drinks. haha

on javis way back on his final stretch, me and marc raced him to the finishing line, accompanied by jinshi. haha, javis said he saw jinshi running on his right first then i suddenly on the left to boost him up. he did overtook a guy!

once again, thanks and well done for all the great effort all of us had put in and our cheerleaders---marilene, marcus, chongmei and debra(don't know whether she can shout that loud) and siyuan, who had motivated us a lot for which we had this wonderful result.

Oh man, the cup cakes are delicious, both the oreo and the choco flavour. tasted both and i must say it's not bad. managed to sell all after school(even though i did not help out after school). but the float is a failure...nvm, ice-cream marathon tmr...haha...before campus relay. wah i think can die man if i really eat. but i really want to eat ice cream.

another bastard day. I pon-ed sch today. coz im a bastard, NO!
went to have my NS medical checkup together with gensen and ryan. Threesome...

met at toy's house. his house was tore down by aircon technicians... went to toast BOX to have our breakfast. the time was 1130. walked around tiong bahru plaza before taking bus 195 to CMPB.

upon arriving there, we were asked to fill up declaration forms of Influenza A. then queued up to sign-in and to keep our handphones in the lockers. proceed to CMPB building.

first station: photo-taking, with the officer shirt on.
our hair were neatly combed and FLASH! nerd shit. you can totally imagine how toy looked like with his long fringe combed to the side, with water some more.

second station: health check-up.
while waiting, felt high tided. so went to relieve myself with ryan! (oops). we were then called to another station nearby. there, the officer told us to have our urine test. ZOMG! ryan and I were totally lost... in the end managed to urine out after gulping down my bottle of water. behind gensen by 5 people like that. blood test next. oh, the needle was huge. i guess they drew 15 to 20 ml of my blood.

third station: hearing test
had to raise our which ever hand when we hear low-pitch sound with the earphone on. damn low lah, i don even know it started. raised my hand like an idiot. right, right, right, right, right then left left...

fourth station: X-ray
stand like a chicken with hands on hip. breathe in real hard and my rib cage was like ...

fifth station: eye
just those regular tests...

at this point of time, i was rated PES A for all the stations.

station 6: ECG
had to walk around there half naked and without shoes. in the ECG room, many wires were cliped on both my legs and hands. then a few more on my chest. dont even know wad they doing. just lie there. after the test, the officer freaking just pull out all the clips that were on my chest. -_-" height and weight next. it turned out that my BMI was below average. waited and waited there to do final checkup. (had to strip in front of the officer) but not too bad. got quite a lot of cjcians there and we crapped.

while that stupid toy got PES A. cause of wad? guess. his height was recorded 175 cm. the machine, which was manually operated, touched his head when he was still hunching. dots... therefore his BMI was acceptable. Ryan? same fate as me.

last station: IQ test
sat in front of the computer for an hour plus. lots of retarded questions. maths, physics, speed test. all sort. waste of time.

left CMPB at 5 pm. spent 4 hours there. lols. ate a plate of chicken rice at the nearby hawker. then proceed back to school to attend SYF presents. worth while for 10 bucks. guzheng doesn't deserve bronze lor...haiz.

today is such a bastard day. i am late for school for like the FIRST time. heard issac lim counting down to the time of death. but still couldn't make it. what made me feel even more bastard is that i am the first person that he stop people from going to assembly. freaking saw wang siyuan running in front of me. emm, quite a distant though. :(

bball for pe today. damn exhausting. severely lack of stamina. freaking last game most tiring. they subbed all 3 fresh guys player into the game and leave me javis and jq to tank them. I freaking don like that class T12, esp the guy T_ _ _ _ _ _. i only scored two or three while debbie is the MVP, being the top scorer. even the girls are afraid of her... cjc relay is next wednesday. how to run 1.8 km with my kind of stamina now...

its just not my day today.

bastards' mother bailed on us today. she asked us out for lunch in the first place yet she changed her mind just because of ANTM. wts... as if you can be a model... joking la...don angry lah...mothers' day is coming this sun.

went to some posh jap restaurant with nif and debb. but the one eating is debb. she is a rich guy... she ordered a special lunch set worth $9.80 with shouyu ramen and beef rice plus ginger ale. we, being the lower-income poor guys, ordered a drink each cause i am just damn thirsty and i only want water. nif ordered lime juice while i ordered calpis with soda. any idea what a calpis is? according to wikipedia:

tired of everything. Yes, everthing in life which i have been doing for years.

slept for more than 10 hours yesterday while somebody slept less than 3 hours. that's the difference in both scenarios where both were tired of our lives.

for the first time i flared up in class. but it did work. or else WHAT the rest would be still doing? busy killing monsters that DO NOT exist at all. busy doing gp when you all should have done it over the LONG weekend. and all those slow-motioned creatures, still deely-daly you all should know why i flare up, instead of the pcc. YES, you, you and you, hope you all had woken up your ideas! IS GP more important than fund-raising? IS that Monster Haunter more important than fund-raising? kill a monster in s'pore and earn a degree, brother. i am not doing this for myself, but the whole class. you all are the one who will be going for ocip and HOPEFULLY gain something there. felt like throwing the whole packet of nacho cheese up to the fans~

Day: LABOUR DAY

Event: LAWN BOWLS ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME

it came out to be a huge success. 14 playing for the senior category and 14 playing for the junior category. we played knock-out stage, whereby only the first in each team goes on to the semi. I am in gensen, dominic and clement group. point system-closest bowl 4 points next cloest 3 point and so on for four closest bowls. I won 7 points for the first end and they all wan to team against me...so sad... in the end i still won with a score of 23 with second place 15 points. phwee...

semi with hazmi. thought i am going to lose cause the score is 3-4 with last end to go. in the end 2 bowls up and final up against clarine, who beat arvin 7-1. good job clarine. but then those who reach semi confirm got trophy to take home.

its a total win over her, not that i dont let her win or wad, its just i want to win. haha. but clarine considered damn power, from last nothing to this year silver.



oh ya, got food too. heard that is ordered from deli corner. but the choco cupcake not bad. got a lot choco chips. i like it.

marc is officially joining the nationals competition for lawn bowls after today's game. lol.

a gang of 8 went to kallang leisure park to eat and to poker(not me). then we went to the arcade and played two-third of a game in which you have to throw those coloured plastic balls at the censor screen to kill poeple. got a family played first round and they walked away. called them but to no avail. then we play. in the end we ranked first! wootss.

went back squash there to play cards asshole dai-di and perform some cards tricks. some were amazed at my trick. haha.

played street soccer with gensen dom and marc. teamed with marc. win 10-7 with a two-nil down come back.
