batam tomorrow!!! how wonderful is that...

more wonderful news. finally bagged my first gold medal in lawn bowls after an epic match with ben against gensen and hazmi. epiclly fail to get to top 4 in singles after losing to tikak who apparently bankai on that fateful sunday morning. nvm, not everyday's a sunday. shall tell you all how we score.

we freaking owned them first to ends but no ssteam after that. end 6 we even gave them 6 points. wts can. damn nervous at that time. wake up call for us. one point by one point, we were catching them up. slowly but surely. the turning point- end 11, when we were 3 up. but at end 14 which is the second last end of the competition, we were one point down. do or die. it was that exciting and will be remembered as match of the century that all other team mates went over to watch the bowls rolling over. after my second shot, we were 1 up. they were planning to let us 1 up and draw with us and play death match. opponent's last bowl changes all. he was aiming for the jack and even though it touches the jack, it chose to roll towards 3 of our nearest bowls. it's a clear victory and i don't even nedd to bowl my last bowl.

it made me realise one thing- driving will not guarantee any success. but i like to drive and heavy draw.

end of our cca career, it means, after our competiton. don't know when will we be playing again. haha. but there's a mixed doubles at the end of the year and fours and thriples too. study lah.
