imagine playing a sport for 4.5 hrs to get into semis, let alone lawn bowls. that's wad ben and i did yesterday for the nationals doubles. we won three games straight out of three games. first game against tilak and ben.tan. won 11-7. second game against nich and dominic. won. last game against J1 team. tough fight with them. first end they won 4 points. the next end we won four points. so tie. third end they won 3. fourth end we won another 3. tie again. wts lah. dunno i am right to say that J1s are good or they have just beginner's luck cause all J2s team were down by the J1s team at first by quite a margin. but in the end all J2 team managed to go through except for nich and dom.

lunch time after 2 consecutive games. felt good after winning both the games. then marc came just in time for free lunch. who says there is no free lunch in this world? it then rained after that. had to wait for it to stop for the third game. wet and soggy ground we played for the last game. the bowls couldn't turn as much and we had to use more strength. it sux to play on wet ground. the only fun is that you can see the water trails spinning with the bowls. when you drive the water trails get bigger. fansinating siol.

went kallang leisure park with the rest to bridge and rest and celebrate for our qualifying into semis. found out that my cap wasn't with clarine nor with me. who would wan to steal it? feel bad cause she wans to buy another one for me. let's hope somebody mistook it and return to us. then the rest went and left marc and i. went to arcade, where marc's toe was stepped by some bitch who stepped, looked at it and walked away. then marc scolded her. the end

took 16 to cine and watched aunty mould the cookies. watched how movies ticket are selling so fast that tickets for A & D 7.45 show were sold out. we were there at 5. watched the donuts at B1 there, even though donut factory's donuts are much better...decided to walk to taka to see wad we can use with the $10 taka voucher. went b2,food area. decided to see if any food tasting is available inside cold storage. NO. went around seeing food, food and more food. bread, brownies, ice-cream, breadpapa, yoki-tori, yogurt and donuts. we thought that we couldnt stay there any further or our stomach would just jump out to grab some food. finally got out of taka w/o buying any food. Yay, great self-control. ate at meridian hotel food place, which sell one of the cheapest food in orchard area. mixed vege rice we ate and a bowl of pork ribs old cucumber soup plus dai-di game. went to tuiton at 7.30. Man U match at 7.45.

tuition ended. for the first time, we packed our bags so quickly, ran out to catch the lift and off to the hawker beside meridian hotel to watch the last few min of the match. together with gensen, marc, hoi ching and matthew, we watched the last 6 min of the match. we held our breath when arsenal players were attacking and cheered when man u defenders kept the ball out of the danger zone. at 90 min, rooney was sub-ed by anderson. that wasted another 1 min or so... van der sar delivered a goal kick and a header from arsenal and a few passes ended the title-winning match. at that moment, the crowd there clapped their hands in approval of the newly-crowned champions. as man u fans, of course we did cheered.








a sport can really bond people of different characteristics together. together we cheered, we screamed and we sing...
